TRIO GRILL is a wonderful family Mediterranean restaurant, located in the heart of Rolling Hills Estates (46-B Peninsula Center). Trio's original incarnation was that of a healthy family restaurant, with take-out food service. Business was successful enough for the owners to grow into an even more successful offering, with fine wines and a full professional catering business.

The decor is very stylish, pleasant and inviting, with decorative walls and eclectic light fixtures. The sleek bar is a popular hangout, with an interesting wine list, peppered with unusual ethnic choices not found on other wine lists around town.

Portions are huge for the price, yet the dishes are light enough not to leave you too stuffed. Service was friendly, energetic and efficient. I like to think of TRIO GRILL as "international comfort food," simple but very satisfying. I've been to Trio's many times and I have always enjoyed my meal! If my recent, barbecue chicken salad, was any indication, the restaurant is better than ever. Trio Grill is open 7 days a week, serving breakfast Saturdays and Sundays (only). Parking is available in a designated lot of the Peninsula Shopping Center, on the corner of Hawthorne and Silver Spur.
